im trying to put kubuntu on the atv, i think i might be close. this was my second attempt. the first is when i tried debootstraping hardy... i got the same results... i mostly followed these instructions http://www.mythic-beasts.com/resources/appletv/walk-through.html but since im running a 64bit OS i booted another pc with kubuntu 8.04 32bit in livecd mode & ran this command... :/mnt/tv$ ssh root@192.168.1.211 "cd /copy && tar cfz - . " | sudo tar xfpBz -
it complained about a few things...
could you post your steps on how you got debian 4 on the atv?
