Day 1 of Minecraft : Fraps Test

**Don't forget! The price of Minecraft goes up on the 20th! Get it now and be guaranteed free updates.** I picked up Minecraft yesterday, after watching all the great vids over the last few months. I figured I'd see how it ran with Fraps. I usually use Linux rather than Windows, so if anyone could recommend a good Fraps-alike for Ubuntu I'd appreciate it. I tried Kazam, but it's meant to be a screencaster. I found putting a floor around the ladder and creating an access chute a bit less hair raising for that deep descent. I guess I could just start placing brick rails around it. Maybe a glass cage! :) At the end of the video you'll see me sliding around in the mine. At first I thought it was an invisible water glitch, but then hitting the keyboard fixed it. I dumped coffee on it and cleaned it out a couple of weeks ago, but it's apparently still feeling the caffeine. Time to put the keyboard in the dishwasher tomorrow.

Call of Duty Black ops: Easter egg - The Torture chair (PC)

Tutorial video on how to get out of the torture chair in Black Ops when you're on the main menu. You need to look downwards, and press your 'jump' key for the PC. For the XBOX360 you need to press LT and RT several times. For the PS3 you need to press R1 and L1 several times. In the room, there is a PC with a linux terminal, you get a list of commands by typing 'help'. Type 'doa' for another little easter egg!

WhatsDone and Hefley Autocross Teaser

I'm going to cook up a video that "documents" our first foray(s) into the world of autocross. This is a teaser of what's to come. Please go easy on the comments since this is my first attempt at creating a video with lots of cuts, music-syncing, etc. This is also my first attempt at creating background music. I had to overcome a lot of Windows Live Movie Maker's limitations, issues with my camera's AVCHD video format, and bugs in Linux MultiMedia Studio. Your feedback is welcome. I especially look forward to tips on video editing and soundtrack making. I already noticed that the video stutters around 0:11 and there is a mis-timed cut around 0:36, but I have spent roughly 8 hours working on this video and I'm ready to move on :p
